probable todo’s for a phd application

a) gather all institutional program documentation from wherever possible to frame requirements of commitments.
b) do not read self-help books or guides as they are indicative of application systems from other curricula and practices.
c) after tidying up the cv, identify common strands in your work that can act as interests you further research on.
d) find out who your tentative guide is and identify what are their academic accomplishments or aspirations are.
e) read up work they have produced and how your area of interest can work as an extension of their work.
f) when drafting a proposal you shouldn’t have a project as in it’s not a research for design, it’s either research on design or through.
g) understand the research process, how much resources you will need to complete your work and in how much time.
