What is the act of architecture? What are its elements? It’s conditions; it’s materials and its motives?
motive, context and time
defining moments in the course of evolution of a community, region, city or a country defining moments are foundations of our contemporary society architecture constantly responds and symbolizes these instances with or without the presence and/or intention of architects
architecture does not follow the norm and stand for a moment in time

that signifies a place in time
origin and evolution of design governed and symbolized by strong social, political, economic, ideological and environmental concerns in spite of its origin and intention, it went on to acquire different meanings
buildings can range from a landmark or a public space that we pass by every day without associating the significance of this work in its time
post-card picture building or a public space that is the memory of a place/city
a well-intentioned (successful or failed) social project that changed the political discourse of a state or an Institution that symbolizes an ideology
a building built post-independence
the project should be in the collective memory of its people for a purpose or symbolized for a reason
the building may or may not have had consulting architects but should have a significant motive
building should be within a 500km radius from your college
the scale of the building can be small but should be significant to demonstrate an impact

documentation of Architecture through scaled drawings in Monochrome
10 significant images (black and white or color) that show the project through context, architecture, details
overview of events and conditions that led to the project
30% text rest as diagrams, illustrative sketches, images, montages and any other graphical medium that explain the intent of the project
one 8x4 feet panel
have the words “NARI GANDHI TROPHY 2018 - 2019
bear the NASA logo on the right-hand bottom corner, NASA INDIA logo size should be 30mm X 52.50mm, 10mm clear border on all 4 sides
