27/7/2016 _ What is happening in Hamara Shehar Mumbai is instead of demanding actual & accurate GIS Mapping for DP-2034, which will check unrestricted prolifecation of slums - including in Gaothans & Koliwadas; concern is more about DCR Rules - seeking rights, amenities and more on encroached public/private areas. First you Squat in open spaces, amenity plots, NDZs & anywhere you feel like and claim that Housing is our constitutional right, then further Demand all amenties. What democracy is this? If so, then let government provide houses to all 18 years and above - both for girls & boys.

28/7/2016 _ Can 100% accurate DP-2034 be achieved?
Even if citizens are asked to prepare DP wardwise, am sure we’ll not arrive at a consensus whether NDZ and other Reserved plots should or not be allowed for any development.
Are the occupied Green zones marked seperately?
If GIS data can go wrong as “drafting errors” and 80% of Planned development not implemented over passed 50 years, wonder what need DP will serve?
It may serve the purpose of politicians like Ex-MLA Gilbert Mendonsa who trys to purchase 100+ acres of Forest land knowing fully well the reservation will change someday. Also non-reserved/unmarked & buffer zones will be usurped!
